What is a Precision hand-built watch?
Our watches all start with a world renowned Japanese TMI movement as it’s centerpiece. We then hand select premium quality aftermarket parts to create distinctive, personalized watches. Each watch undergoes precise modifications and enhancements, resulting in a truly unique creation. The precision and quality rivals that of most luxury Swiss watches.
Where are the watches being hand built?
Located near the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada; you’ll find our seasoned horologists passionately working in our pristine watch studio. All timepieces are precisely hand built and thoroughly inspected before being shipped out to you.
Most of our competitors have their watches assembled and shipped from overseas which results in a lack of quality control and inspections.
What is the quality and durability of the watches like?
We pride ourselves in building only the highest quality timepieces. Our recipe for success: Expert Craftsmanship and Quality Parts.
Our watches feature one of the following Japanese movements: the NH35, NH34, or the VK63. These movements are marveled for their precision and reliability.
Our watch cases are made from 316L stainless steel, known for its exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. The watch face is protected by a sapphire crystal, offering superior clarity and scratch resistance.
Are the watches water resistant?
Our watch cases are rated for 10 ATM however as these are hand assembled custom pieces, we do not independently water test each one. Therefore we list them as 5 ATM waterproof rating (equivalent to 50 meters of depth). That means they are resistant to minor splashes, rain, and hand-washing but we do not recommend them for swimming or diving activities.
They are suitable for everyday wear and short in-water immersions however they are not intended for prolonged exposure to salt water or chlorine treated water which can compromise the seals over time. Please also avoid high heat or humidity environments such as hot tubs and saunas, as this can create condensation inside the watch if the crown and pushers are not closed properly.
Please ensure crowns and pushers are screwed in tightly to prevent moisture from entering. Water damage is not covered by warranty.
How long does it take to build the watch after I order it?
If your watch is labeled “In Stock” above, it means we have the parts ready and it typically takes us 2-3 business days to hand-build, test, and package your timepiece before shipping.
If your watch is labeled “Special Order” above, we will order the parts once the order is placed and hand-build the watch once we receive the parts. Please allow approximately 3 weeks for this process.
